The Six of Wands is a card of Recognition in a tarot reading
I love this card as when it turns up in a tarot reading it is saying recognise yourself, your talents, yourself!
I actually pulled it on whether I should continue posting on instagram as I have done in the past or do something different. The ‘answer’ was an unequivocal continue posting as before. I havent since January 1st and rather got out of the habit….
The six of wands is such a lovely card as it reminds us to celebrate ourselves. If you look at the card it shows us a young man riding a white horse through a crowd, he looks magnificent in a red cloak, crown on his head and holding aloft the wreath of success.
I compare the six of wands to being a graduation ceremony and everyone congratulating you on collecting your degree. Not that I ever went to university or got a degree but I can still imagine the combination of pride for succeeding in three years of hard work. And ceremonial acknowledgement of your university years of experience, learning and growth.
So this card has a sense of triumph and acknowledgement that it is time to get out there and be seen for everything we have learned, our innate talent and the skills we bring to the table. Respect!
At 6’s in the tarot deck are about how we move on in our journey of the suit, life after the 5, the midway level. To me the six of wands is a card of recognition, not only of being seen and respected by others for your success but perhaps more importantly recognising and respecting yourself for the unique talents you bring to the world.
Go forth friends and shine, as it doesn’t serve anyone to hide our light!
Do come and have a reading in person in Battersea or online. for me one of the main reasons for having a tarot reading is to be reminded of your potential and be inspired.
