How accurate can a tarot reading be?

Answer. Very accurate!

I did a two card tarot spread over the weekend that was revelatory in its nuance and accuracy!

Beware the consequences if you don’t take the advice too??

Which I didn’t.

The funny thing, if a funny thing means, coincidentally I had mistakenly pulled two cards instead of the normal one daily reflection card asking for some general insight/support for the day ahead.  Sunday 21st April 2023.

The Two of Swords and the Hanged Man.

Initially somewhat surprised as they were two of the significant cards that had come up in a reading I did the day before.  Bad shuffling or did I need to understand these cards more fully?

Having also decided whatever the card/s was/were I would do an Instagram post, as I hadn’t posted since January 1st!  I set about pondering the meaning for me while deciding where to film myself most flatteringly, which was difficult as I’d had a bad night blowing my nose as ‘my’ could seemed to have returned with a vengeance.  So with red nose and puffy eyes I recorded my post, one rather long winded take, which I managed to edit to the required 30 seconds for a post.

My initial interpretation of the cards, and see my Instagram post was clear (scroll down to the bottom on the the home page) the two of swords says hold off from deciding anything, you are not in a position to do so.

The two of Swords shows a woman in white sitting alone, with the sea behind her, she is blind folded holding two swords in front of her. She’s trying to tune into her intuition to make a logical decision that connects with her heart and her intuition.  It’s a moment when you don’t know and need to hold off from any decision until you can access all three senses.  The Hanged Man indicates surrender, and clarified to me that in my case there was a price to pay, a sacrifice I needed to make, sure I wouldn’t surrendering something I might not like in the short term, but that it would be in my best interests in the long run. And as I always say to clients, with the Hanged Man, deep down you know it’s the right thing to do.

And I knew what that was.   The lurgy had reared its ugly head after me being an idiot the day before and running walking paddling in the sea for half of my walk on Saturday, until my feet were numb with the cold. I had completely forgotten that already ill, the stomach meridian runs up from the sole of the foot to the kidneys, and had clearly given me a further chill as I felt shivery when I got home and had to go to bed and have a nap.

i knew exactly what the Hanged Man meant, what the sacrifice, the surrender might be. Hold off anything that may hinder healing the cold.    And hold off on a Sunday bloody Mary. I didn’t say that on Instagram of course.

But I knew. What harm could it do?

Well what can I tell you.  Not long afterwards I started having cramps, I thought a sleep might help.  But no I ended up with my head over the loo throwing up.  I haven’t thrown up for …..years.  Nor have I felt so ill. When the tarot says hold off, she means hold off.

A bit of a dramatic story but with hindsight one I intend to learn from and one that leaves me even more awed by the wisdom in a tarot reading.

Do come and have a tarot reading in person, or on line via Zoom or Whatsapp video.  I personally find online readings just an intimate and powerful and accurate.
