A three card reading that jump starts the week…..

Monday morning and I decided I needed to jump start my week with a little clarity and direction, not to mention inspiration.

These are the questions I asked before pulling each card.

My first question ‘what’s going on right now?’  Give me a card that helps me understand my current mood.  And I got Judgement, of which I wrote in my last blog.  The card that I identified as describing some sort of wake-up call, breakthrough, an Ah ha moment when you hear a message loud and clear.

The second question was asking for some guidance/advice on how to deal with the first card.  Best course of action. And I got the seven of swords.  Do not give your power away and ask yourself to whom or to what might you give your power away?  What thoughts or habits or people might be distracting you away from your ‘wake up call’ moment?

And the third card was more of a ‘can you clarify’ the seven of swords card…and I got the Emperor, the card of operating from our own sense of power, sovereignty, having the determination, discipline, able to armour up feelings of doubt and fear to keep heading for your goal.   The two rams head on the throne of the Emperor, the Aries sign of the zodiac, goal orientated, leader, passionate, ambitious, courageous.

Wake up and smell the roses! Breakthrough. Don’t give your power away to others! Empower yourself.

Hmm…well this reading spoke to me in many ways. Yes I have been very conscious of responding to a quite dramatic wake up call, but also I have been feeling decidedly woolly, and uncertain my way forward with the Tarot. And without that sense of certainty and direction have rather lost my way. I know I want to feel less stressed, hence why fully embracing the real luxuries in life posted by Jim Kwik on insta are..

Health

A quiet mind

Slow mornings

Ability to travel

Rest without guilt

A good nights sleep

Calm and ‘boring’ days

Meaningful conversations

Home-cooked meals

People you love

People who love you back.

Except ‘luxuries’ are what we receive AFTER achieving/contributing/creating some kind of service to the world.  Some kind of work. Luxuries feel better when deserved. Yes call me old fashioned.

Yesterday I was struggling with direction and Tarot and I asked myself Why do read Tarot? what do you want to say about it?

Yesterday I wrote

If you are feeling unclear, confused or anxious about a situation or life path, a tarot reading will help answer your questions.

I have found the Tarot to be an extraordinary tool for gaining the clarity we need to restore confidence and direction.  It is invaluable for finding solutions to problems, and for receiving guidance and encouragement to tap into our full potential.

Online tarot readings just as connected, accurate, and supportive as in person.  Although it is always lovely to see you in person in Battersea.

I had been struggling to say why I read tarot to the frustration of my lovely website advisor. The truth is I want to help people like me. I want to help put people like me who can’t make decisions out of their misery. People who loose there confidence and can’t trust their instincts and get confused and anxious and doubtful, people like me who also desperately need a feeling of purpose in their lives, and want to make the world a better place and have a burning desire to fulfil what life has to offer. Like everyone!

I have this idea that when we meet our maker at the pearly gates, he/she says ‘ Well? How was it? Did you enjoy it?  Did you enjoy your life?  The world I made?  Did you find it beautiful and fascinating and challenging and marvellous.   Were you glad you spent some time here?’

And the answer is…Oh I had a wonderful time.  I can’t think you enough for sending me down.

Did I mention the major arcana card after Judgement, is the World. The final card of the major arcana when we know we are enough, we are in the centre of our world, not overly attached to our careers, or anything really, because we know the source of contentment, perfection, completion already being in the right place at the right time and ‘enough’. Fulfilled. Complete. Until we start all over again, a brand new cycle with the Fool, when we know little and take a leap of faith at the beginning of a new journey.

Are we also asked did you fulfil your potential? Did you find a purpose that kept you passionate and excited and grateful and loving? hmm

You think you’ve answered one question and then there’s another one right behind it!

Do come and have a tarot reading with me in Battersea or online. And lets see if your burning question can be answered so that you can move forward with enthusiasm and confidence and an open heart.
