Intuitive messages from the Tarot
The Page of Cups
I pulled this card as my daily reflection card. Sunday morning and I was wondering about whether to go to church or to do some writing (for a ‘reading tarot for yourself’ blog I am in the middle of, or more accurately, starting)….when I pulled the Page of Cups, I looked at it. It didn’t seem to be saying go to church (although in retrospect it could have). For a moment only able to associate the ideas of the romantic youth, idealistic, a bit naïve, a bit wafty in the way he/she goes about life, a bit of a poet, dreamer ….it made me google my peers, or rather tarot experts of much greater repute, for their input, as felt I was missing something important about the character of this card and what its appearance might mean.
Here are some more descriptions I had missed out first time. Inner child, youthfulness, kindness, curiosity, possibility, head in the clouds, bringer of creative opportunities and intuitive messages. There is an appreciation for expressing emotions freely, for more laughter, and positivity. new creative ideas and use of our imagination.
When you look at the art work for the page of cups look at Wiki’s pointers.
The page is holding a cup with a blue fish inside that indicates creativity and emotion.
The monochromatic blue color throughout the card indicates a message of communication.
The bright flowers on the page's clothes indicate happiness, growth, and beauty.
The feather that the page is wearing reveals spiritual awakenings and reward for their wisdom and communication.
The waves behind the page indicate waves of emotion.
The page is considered young which symbolize optimism and opportunity.
It occurred to me that PLAYFULNESS might be another feeling we can adopt considering the messages of the page of cups. Perhaps it’s ok (more than ok….to be advised) to spend a day head slightly head in the clouds, expressing emotions, dreaming up creative possibilities, following intuitive messages, or at least allowing all of the above to ‘play’ in the field.
I liked the idea of a dreamy Sunday, floating around following my heart. The first thing I did was went to bbc sounds and listened to the replay of Sunday worship, which I had missed earlier, and so instead of going to church I received my fix of beautiful music in a worshipful manner. As well as remining me of very happy times shared with my mother when we listened together. Writing about it now, had made me feel so grateful that we were able to share our love of music and prayer in this way. Something else remarkable happened earlier. I was listening to some music on Instagram and the bird outside my window starting singing. More and more I notice how birds respond to music being played. It was something my Mother particularly marvelled at. When she was ill I used to play her the dawn chorus. She would look up at the ceiling in amazement looking for the birds she could hear, with the most glorious smile of joy on her face. How blessed are we.
And how blessed am I to have received the page of cups which has made me travel down memory lane and find nuggets of gold and perhaps receive intuitive messages from heaven .
Do come and have a reading with me in Battersea or just as good, on line. Tarot is such a wise kind and insightful counsellor in life.
