How you know you are on the right track in a tarot reading?

My last Instagram post was on The Hermit, which featured Trumpet and was a bit flippant so I thought I’d write a bit more about why I love the Hermit card in a Tarot reading.

The Hermit is someone who knows himself/herself and has the wisdom and inner light to follow the path that is right for him/her! Which is why he is the perfect card to receive in a tarot reading that confirms that we are heading in the right direction.

The Hermit in a pale grey cloak has the grey beard of wisdom, his own light to lead the way, and a staff to support him. He knows himself and lives with integrity treading the path that is right for him.

The Hermit is a very profound card of self knowledge and having the wisdom to know the path that is right for you. It takes a lot of courage and self belief to trust in ourselves and follow our own path, because for most of us our desire to be liked and to fit in makes it hard to go against the crowd.

I know a few Hermits and I’d like to reassure you, they are not lonely. Rather the opposite, their inner confidence attracts others and shines a light for them to follow their own path.

And so I always cheer when a client gets the Hermit as its a sign they are on the right path, or at least they understand their desire to live with integrity and be true to themselves. We all need to be encouraged to be ourselves as well be part of the whole.

I often say when describing Tarot and Tarot reading that it is a healing tool to become ‘whole’ because it can bring so many pieces of the puzzle together. And encourages us to be our whole selves.
