Another tarot card that suggests a hesitation starting this 2023 new year

Well I don’t know about you but my world has been a bit upside down during the last week.  An incident happened that left me shaking my head in disbelief, mystified and upset as the behaviour of another did not it into my world view and I couldn’t work out what had happened.

I pulled cards on it, and for me in relation to the other person I got the Hanged Man.  Hmm I thought what have I had to surrender? Certainly the behaviour of the other did not fit into my world view and had made me question my judgement big time. However the message of this card in tarot also says, don’t jump to preconceived ideas, you might need to consider things from a completely different perspective. 

I wanted to give the person the benefit of the doubt; ironically his actions did leave me in limbo, so I had to laugh as the card so perfectly reflected my situation. Still I thought if I hang here and consider the world from upside down perhaps I will be enlightened 

So when I pulled the Hanged Man for our thought for today, after Temperance of the last post, I wondered if anyone else has been feeling the need to surrender ‘knowing’, about the year ahead, about anything, as it does seem that our world has been turned upside down and we need a rethink.  Perhaps hanging in limbo for a while  as we distil the new order might help us gain enlightenment about how to get upright.

There’s a happy ending to my story, literally two hours ago the person got in touch and all is restored.  I am absolutely thrilled and elated as its been quite a journey. Thank you Tarot, as the Hanged Man really helped me consider that I didn’t have the whole picture and to give human nature the benefit of the doubt.   Yeah .
