The Sun is out!
When the Sun comes out in a tarot reading you can break into a smile, breathe a sigh of relief and say ‘It’s alright’ as in George Harrisons’ ‘Here comes the Sun’.
The Sun’s powerful energy is here to encourage and activate what you want to manifest out in the world, whether it be what you want to express, or an endeavour.
The child balanced on a white stallion on the tarot card reminds me of children I know, their sheer delight at being alive…. carried by a super charger of energy, riding bare-back and with no reins.
No reins, no doubts, no fears, no over-thinking, innocent, excited and full of trust. And brave!
The Sun is the masculine energy, to the Moon’s feminine, and radiates it’s energy, hence the aspect of action needed to materialise what you want in the world.
So the advice of the World in a tarot reading is activate this energy of sunshine. The grey wall (trouble) is behind you and sunflowers are holding their heads high. Get out into the world and express, manifest, yourself.
While I was contemplating The Sun for this blog, I kept remembering an old song from my childhood. It was so cheerful and I think the words went like this
‘The Sun has got his hat on, hip hip horray,
the sun has got his hat on and is coming out to play’
I pulled the card on Friday, and thought whey hey the Sun’s out to play. Not that I saw a glimpse of the sun over the weekend, however I did feel it’s energy. I was lucky enough to be spending the weekend with a family who know all about energy and play and self-expression. Young and old were expressing themselves all over the place. Laughter, noisy conversation, tantrums and tears were all brought to the table.
Sun energy, powerful, alive, expressing itself just for the fun of it...is contagious. We should all radiate sunshine and spread the love.
