Completion is found in the ‘World’ tarot card
An example. Waking up in the morning and at ‘one with the world, peaceful, content, with a sweetness in the heart and sense of everything is right in the world, perfect, being in the right place at the right time…..Complete. Full up.
The World is the final card of the major Arcana that describes completion, perfection, feeling whole. When we have completed a cycle. Of course quite often these moments are momentary, as the day to day business of life calls us into the fray. And why harvesting these moments is so key! Contemplating why it feels so delicious and precious and what created it, what combination of interactions and events helped create it because we want more of that! And then spending some time saying thank you. It all builds the habit of inner peace.
Yesterday I was astonished at the resilience and strength of the heart, of love in general, of what a force it is. And how it energised me, as utterly exhausted after going to bed at 3 am and dancing all night, I was sure I didn’t have it in me to do a good job as tarot reader for a birthday party. It was for an 11 year old…..her young friends and their ‘yummy mummies’. Apologies for the expression, but they really were lovely as well beautiful women.
What happened was miraculous and I can only assume in retrospect that it was a combination of my innate desire to bring readings to people that help, inspire and enlighten, and that comes from the heart and from Love and that it was that energy came forth and powered the day. Also because the event was full of love and intention to create a happy birthday for a beloved daughter and her friends. I got to read for them and the mothers all wanting a happy day for their children, the place was full of love, the intention of love. As was the buddha-like party planner who hired me! It was a lovely day. And I felt fully complete (if exhausted) at the end of it. And perhaps why I received the World this morning as my daily reflection card. And with it the gift of contemplating the meaning of the tarot card and how I came to feel both loving and loved and by writing this…. harvesting the moment in its completion.
I think the idea in making this a practice is that if we remember something that fulfilled or filled us with appreciation, our hearts fill up more and more and our minds follow new neuropathways that lead to finding happiness in every day life…or something.
Anyway enough burbling for today. The sun in shining and i’m off for a walk on this sunny windy beautiful day.
Do come for a reading with me in Battersea on online.
