A good ‘start the year’ Tarot spread
I have found this spread to be a great addition for a tarot reading at the start of the year.
I chose The Fool as an illustration for the feeling I think we all want at the beginning of the year. He/she is full of optimism and faith. We may not know where we are going exactly or how to go about it, but we feel sure we are heading in the right direction and following what we love.
This is a great little spread to feel confident of heading in the right direction.
It takes a look at your primary focus and aspiration and at the same time reminds you of your present skill, combined with the skill you bring forward from last year’s experiences. It looks at what helpful influence you will receive, and this can be external or again internal, a skill you can bring to the table. and your challenge, and how the best course of action to fulfil the potential ahead, and probable outcome.
In the case of my young friend who came for a reading in Battersea (and who has kindly allowed me to use her spread as an illustration) it was really encouraging for her to see that all her reliable hard work as an intern would pay off and that she was making steady progress to receive the recognition she deserves and achieve the big Change she would like in 2023. i.e. a great paid job! See the spread on instagram as it shows all seven cards she pulled and explains the meaning and positions.
More often than not there are different areas of life we want to explore in a tarot reading, this spread is a good starting place and enables us to pull other cards to take a good look at specific options that may be in the back of your mind, and bring them to the fore. I often ask my clients to pull cards for all their ideas, because often the ones they are unsure of turn out have much more potential than they thought, which helps my clients decide what direction to turn their attention to.
I like my clients to leave with a bit of plan about how to achieve their hearts desire whether it be career or relationships or personal development.
I describe the spread more fully on instagram, do follow me as I post twice a week and offer tarot cards that are often add useful insight for us to ponder.
and don’t hesitate to get in touch with a tarot reading with me in Battersea or via whatsapp, zoom. It will be my pleasure
